Sofiya Loriashvili
A 26 ans, Sofiya Loriashvili a déjà beaucoup vécu : l’émigration d’Ukraine en France lorsqu’elle était enfant, la fête, l’addiction, la marginalité, l’errance, les rehab et les hôpitaux, le retour à son pays natal en plein covid, à la veille de la guerre. Son travail photographique est un journal intime tourné vers les autres, avec un réalisme cru qui invite en vrac le sexe, la poésie, le sordide, la fantaisie et la fraternité. Version européenne et contemporaine d’une Nan Goldin ou d'un Larry Clark, ses photos impressionnent et fascinent. Diplômée de l’École Gobelins à Paris, elle enchaîne les expositions et a déjà publié 6 livres.

Sofiya Loriashvili is only 26, but she has already been through a lot: emigration from Ukraine to France when she was a child, partying, addiction, marginality, wandering, rehab and hospitals, travelling and returning to her native country in the middle of covid, on the eve of the war. Hers photographic work is a diary turned towards others, with a raw realism that invites sex, poetry, filth, fantasy and fraternity. Her photos impress and fascinate, like a European and contemporary version of Nan Goldin or Larry Clark. Today, Sofiya graduated from Les Gobelins in Paris and has already published 6 books.
